As we are a donor funded organisation, we believe that the faith our supporters put in us can only be maintained with transparency about our financial needs, fund inflows and expenses. We will be disclosing our monthly financials here every month.
Financial Disclosure for January 2020:
IFF received Rs. 233,068 from 157 individuals this month. Out of which, 126 people are IFF members who donate to us on a recurring monthly basis.
We also received an organisational donation of Rs. 1 Lakhs from @IndiaOSConf on January 23, 2020. Organisations who believe their businesses have the capacity for social good and support constitutional goals donate to us and support us.
We are also taking active steps to enhance accountability and transparency and we are now accredited with the Credibility Alliance dated from 26/12/2019 to 25/12/2020. credibilityalliance.org/index
IFF received Rs. 226,355 from 155 individuals in the month of February. Out of which, 137 people are IFF members who donate to us on a recurring monthly basis.
We also received an amount of Rs. 14000 raised through a birthday fundraiser hosted by @Pscripturient. This is a great way for people to come together and support our fight for digital freedom. Host a fundraiser for IFF this year, reach out to us at [email protected]
1/ IFF received Rs. 652,730 from 210 individuals this month. Out of which, 145 people are IFF members who donate to us on a recurring monthly basis.
2/ We would also like to thank Amod Malviya - @amodm for hosting the 1:1 match donation fundraiser for us. We were able to reach the target in less than 3 days and raised more money in a month than ever before. We thank @amodm and our entire tech community for their continued support.
3/ We also received an amount of Rs. 4,60,970 from OML Entertainment Pvt. Limited @onlymuchlouder as the beneficiaries of the Standup for India charity event held in Mumbai in January.
We commit to use these funds in the most effective way to fight against issues like mass surveillance, facial recognition and protecting constitutional freedoms of Indians.

3/ This month we are raising funds to cover the average salary of one staff member at IFF for a year. Your donation would help us in reaching our goal of Rs 6,00,000 securing the financial stability of one our staffers.

3/ We signed up 37 members last month. This has been a tremendous jump as compared to 8 member sign-ups monthly in the past and it’s only possible with your support. We are also working on making the expense side reporting public through an Annual Transparency Report in the near future.
1/ IFF received Rs. 3,39,373 from 306 individuals in the month of July. Out of which, 242 people are IFF members who donate to us on a recurring monthly basis.
2/ We received Rs 25,00,000 from Zerodha as an organisational donation as part of the Internet Freedom Resilience Fund we are trying to build to provide long term sustainability to the organisation. For organisational donations, reach out to us at [email protected]
3/ We are running a fundraiser to upgrade IFF’s cyber security infrastructure. We have been able to raise 10% of the target amount so far. You can contribute to the device drive directly or by hosting a fundraiser for IFF. We would really appreciate it!

3/ This month @gonsalevs_r hosted a match donation for IFF on his birthday. We were able to raise the amount that we did only because of this match. We thank @gonsalevs_r and the entire team at @obvious for their continued support.
4/ As part of the Internet Freedom Device Drive, we have been able to buy a laptop for one of our staffers. We have been able to raise 30% of the target amount so far. Make your contribution to the active fundraiser to help provide tech support to all the staff members at IFF!
