On the 1st of January, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare notified the Unique Health Identifier Rules, 2021. Given recent conversations about health data, and the fact that the Health IDs are to be involved in India’s COVID-19 immunisation rollout, we thought we’d create an explainer on the Rules, which can be found here.
