Draft Vision Document of e-Courts Project Phase III

Hi everyone,

Last month a sub-committee of the Supreme Court released and invited comments on the Draft Vision Document of e-Courts Project Phase III.

This document is extremely important as it provides a blueprint for the judiciary to adopt and implement digitisation in the coming years. Based on our preliminary analysis, we have published an outline of the document on our website.

We encourage you to study the draft vision document, share your thoughts on the forum and submit your comments to the E-Committee on [email protected] or on the CIVIS Platform.

We are also studying the document, examining international best practices, seeking opinion of stakeholders on the document and formulating our comments. We shall update all of you once our comments are prepared.

Please note, initially the last date to submit comments was April 23rd. Since it was difficult to provide meaningful inputs on the document because of the pandemic, IFF along with 14 other organisations appealed to Supreme Court’s E-Committee to extend the deadline. The Supreme Court’s E-Committee has kindly extended the deadline till 21st May.

Hoping to read what all of you think of the document!
