We wrote a letter to the Ministry of Education, Government of West Bengal, highlighting our concerns about the data collected from the Banglar Uchchashiksha Portal in the absence of a privacy policy or guidelines to govern data storage & processing and the creation of student profiles. This is worrisome since the portal collects students’ sensitive data, potentially including minors.
