There is no media report on this. But Pay1 - a business correspondent, who was also in business of lending to merchants through Pragati Capital - was breached and estimated 4 Lakh Aadhaar photocopy, besides cancelled cheque compromised.
Whoa! Why aren’t channels picking this up?
Leaks and hacks (of smaller scale) are no longer news.
For an entity that didn’t know it was leaking - it has no logical way to deny a leak that might have happened in past. Consider it leaked.
