Last week we sent a representation to the Kerala Government recommending, among other things, to set up a state level framework for regulating and processing the personal health data of the citizens of Kerala.
This was in response to the Sprinklr controversy in which the government has been embroiled since the past couple of months. An important development with regard to the Sprinklr Controversy in Kerala is that the Government has submitted an affidavit in the High Court last week wherein they have stated that they have decided to end their contract with the US based firm and have also directed them to immediately destroy all health data that they had in their posession.
