Hi everyone, I wrote an article that talks about some of the legal issues surrounding the recent trends in Aadhaar Authentication. My argument is that putting in place a system that respects principles of privacy protection is necessary and this will involve some organisational initiatives and enforcement measures by the executive and regulatory bodies alike. I also briefly touched upon the new amendments made to the regulations under the Aadhaar Act and enactment of legislation with new regulatory bodies, which I believe has scope for deeper study.
