On June 22, 2020 the National Crime Records Bureau released a revised Request for Proposals for the procurement of the National Automated Facial Recognition System (AFRS). IFF has sent them a legal notice asking them to recall the RFP citing concerns of violations of fundamental rights of privacy and freedom of speech and expression.
