Some women have used a the political filter in a dating app, to extract evidence from people involved in the US Capitol riots.
Would such evidence – obtained by individuals and not law enforcement officials with a mandate to investigate, and under false pretenses/misrepresentation – be admissible in a court of law or would these be considered fruits of the poisonous tree?
