The reports, published by The Wire, reveal how the Israeli-organisation NSO Group's spyware, Pegasus, was able to successfully compromise the devices of several Indian citizens, including journalists like Siddharth Vardarajan, MK Venu, Rohini Singh as well as potentially target politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Vaishnaw himself and the woman who shared her experience of being sexually abused by the former CJI, Ranjan Gogoi.
