Government surveillance specifically.
No Place to Hide by Glen Greenwald. (In addition to the Snowden/Greenwald story, the book has some good insights into NSA practices).

I may be going a bit off-topic here, but recently I stumbled upon this reading list on gendered surveillance. It includes articles from India (including on UP’s infamous “distress alert via FRT”)…hope this helps…(so far, I have only bookmarked the page, I have to get around to reading some of the articles… )
